Here at The Mawson club we provide only the best entertainment
in our Blue Note Lounge. It is because of this reason that we
are very picky in those bands that perform in Blue Note. At
our venue a band only needs to put on one poor performance and
they are not invited back to perform.
We spend an enormous amount
of money to live up to and exceed The Mawson Clubs reputation
as a Live music venue. We advertise (exclusively) our bands
on TV and promote within the club and community.
On the 22nd October 2005,
'The Robbie Williams Show' featured in the Blue Note Lounge.
This was a sensational night that every one enjoyed. The venue
was absolutely packed with members and their invited guests.
The crowd turnout for the evening was 500+ pax, our Duty Managers
commented that, "they have never seen a bigger crowd in
here", they also stated that the band presentation was
above average, patron response was off the chart, the band was
very well behaved and the Bar take was above the average bar
take.
We have had this Band here
a few times before, as the U2 and Robbie Williams Show's. Every
time the band has performed here they are well behaved, get
a great turn out and most importantly revenue is always very
good.
We will defiantly continue
to use this band in the future as they provide above expectation
in all areas.
